Intro:
First off, lemme just underline that I am no officer - yet, I still have something that I want to share with all the new guys:

There's been a lot of recruitment over the summer, the core of the old RM is gone, so it's time to manage expectations (which is a two-way street).

What does RM expect of you?

- That you read up on bosses, if they are new to you, regardless if they have been killed by RM before. If it is new to you, then you prepare as much as you can (see usable links below).
- That you show up with best quality consumables for the entire raid duration, and that you don't need to be reminded to use them.
- That you perform while in raid - this increases success rate and hence also the overall raid experience. Successful raids are FUN raids!

What can you expect from RM?

- Lots of friendly people, that you can always ask for advise, have fun with and encourage to perform in raids.
- A guild with a solid reputation and long raiding history.
- A chance for you to prove yourself, and get rewarded for good performance.

This guild has always been build around a core group and the raiding environment. Sadly the core shattered over the summer, but this is only a good news for those newly joined - everyone has equal chances of making the raid team.

General info:
- Make sure you read about our DKP / GBP / raid rules.
- Make sure you familiarize with the forum and check if regularly (both for social and raid reasons).
- Have FUN! It's a game, and we're all here to have a good time. Good times come with good effort - so show your quality! Very Happy Welcome...

Links for boss tactics/preparation:
MMO-Champion - http://www.mmo-champion.com/ - I use this site to look up boss abilities, before I read the actual tactics.
Wowwiki - http://www.wowwiki.com/Portal:Main - I use this site to read about actual tactics.
Youtube - http://www.youtube.com/ - After reading about the abilities, and how they are handled, it is nice to get a picture on the fight. YouTube rarely fails on that.
