Why ranks matter
For both raid invites and loot there is rank priority. Higher rank gets invites to raid first and higher rank get loot first. Vanguards being the highest rank then Raider then Soldier thenPeon and in the bottom the Slaves.
On invite priority Soldiers, Peons and Recruit are even, this is done so it actually works within the rules that we need to try out new Recruits. But on loot Soldiers and Peons have priority over Recruits. We don't bring alt's or friends to main raids.
Rank's of Rigor Mortis
Friend
The RM Friend rank are people who have been allowed to stay in guild without being on the raid team. We do not invite people for this rank. If people for good or bad reason can't really fullfil what we need to see from people on our raid team they might end up here. When I say might its due to a kick from guild is also possible. Backup's are offen people who been here for a while and just can't handle raid anymore due to RL or people who are away for a period, but plan on being back. Can be traveling, militery or stuff like that.
Alt
Have a guess
Slaves
Trial period while being tested for raid team. (14-30 days)
Peon
People who have shown the skill to be in a raid, but who currently don't fullfill soldier requirements. Will have lower loot priority than soldiers, but same invite priority to give raid leader most possible options. Soldiers will probably be invited first most of the time, but will be up to raid leader.
Soldier
The rank you have when on the raid team. This requires fullfilling all the requirements mentioned in the post "raid guidelines". It requires at least 65% attendance to stay a Soldierd if you go below you get a demotion to Peon.
Raider
Gives priority on invites and loot (over Soldiers, Peons, Slaves etc.) for being a important part of the Rigor Mortis raid group. Requires 75% attendace and general excellent performance in raids.
Vanguard
In most area's counts as raider and having to fullfil same requirements but with a 85% raid attendance. The promotion for vanguard is given to people we feel have shown long term that they are dedicated, trusted and loyal members of Rigor Mortis. This in combination with a superior performance in raids. It comes with the benefits of getting the first raid invites and players on this rank have loot priotrity above everyone else.
Officer
Invite to raid and loot priority follow same rules as rest of guild. Officers should fullfil requirements for raider as part of being officer. But if we for a period don't we will lose invite and loot priority like anyone else in guild.
